🏈 HBCU HOMECOMING SEASON IS HERE!

October belongs to Morgan State + Howard. 🧡💙❤️💙
HBCU Homecoming is more than a football game. It's the bands, the Yard, the alumni coming home, the outfits 👀 and a whole weekend of Black culture and school pride.
And we have TWO major Homecomings happening right here in Baltimore + DC. Here's what to put on your calendar:
🐻 MORGAN STATE | BALTIMORE
📅 Homecoming Week: Oct. 4–11 Morgan State University Homecoming
Don't miss:
🎤 Wed, Oct. 7: Homecoming Concert – 8pm
🥁 Sat, Oct. 10: Homecoming Parade – 9am
🏈 Sat, Oct. 10: Morgan vs. Robert Morris – Noon
Somewhere Tip 💡: The parade runs from The Alameda Shopping Center to Morgan's campus. Get there early, bring a chair and then make a day of it!

🦬 HOWARD UNIVERSITY | DC
📅 Homecoming Week: Oct. 11–18 The Dig at Howard University
Don't miss:
🏀 Tue, Oct. 13: Bison Madness
🎶 Fri, Oct. 16: Yardfest Day 1
🎉 Sat, Oct. 17: International Yardfest Day 2
🏈 Sat, Oct. 17: Howard vs. Morehouse – 3:30pm
Heads up: There's no Homecoming parade this year because of construction along Georgia Avenue, so plan Saturday around the Yard + the game instead.
Two schools. Two cities. Two HUGE Homecoming weekends. 🏈 Which one are you going to? Or are you going to the Battle of the Bands instead like me!

Movie Date
I drove 45 minutes to Frederick for a movie theater and I'd actually do it again. 😂
Regal Frederick has 4DX where your seat moves with the movie, but the real surprise was their VIP option when you do a IMAX or standard movie with unlimited popcorn, drinks + ICEEs included.
And because Frederick has plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby, you could easily turn this into a whole date day.
