September 3 - 7, 2026

Hey Locals! 👋🏽
I swear the 3-day weekend just ended and somehow my kids are already back in school. 😩😂 September came QUICK.
But I’m not mad at it because there are already a few things happening this month that are worth getting out of the house for.
First up: Somewhere With Locals Dinner is happening THIS WEEK in Catonsville! 🎉
I’m excited, a little nervous, and mostly ready to see what happens when a bunch of people who want to meet new people actually show up and sit down for dinner together.
If you missed this one, Bowie is next on September 10th and registration closes soon. So if you’ve been saying you need new friends, new people to go places with, or just an excuse to get out the house…this might be your sign. 👀
Save Your Seat

Also…the Renn Faire is OPEN! 🏰
I am still shocked by how many people told me they had never been or had never even heard of it after my video.
I went another year and STILL didn’t get to see everything, which tells you how much there is to do. Just know tickets can sell out, so if it’s on your fall list, don’t wait until the last minute.
Okay, now let’s get into what’s happening this week. 👇🏽

My Picks for September:
FREE This Weekend
PG County Wine Festival
Admission to the fair included
Camping in Druid Hill Park
🎡 Sep 16-20 | Anne Arundel County Fair | Crownsville, MD
🥒 Sep 19 | The Big Dill: Baltimore Pickle Fest | Baltimore, MD
🅏 Sep 26 | Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival | Annapolis, MD

A few Maryland finds worth having on your radar this week.
I went down my usual Maryland rabbit hole this week and found a few things I had NO idea existed so figured you’d want to know too!
🚂 An underground railroad experience in Montgomery County
Every Saturday in September, you can ride a learning experience through Seneca Creek State Park. I had never heard about this one, but it definitely caught my attention.

Think corn maze, apple cider donuts, drinks and a night at the orchard that actually feels like a date night.
They kick off September 3rd with select Thursdays through October, so if you’re already looking for a different fall date idea, save this one.

Thanks for being one of the Locals. Send this to someone who needs to go out.
Hope to See You.…….Somewhere Local!
